The South East Rail Group (SERG)

Welcome to the South East Rail Group (SERG), an independant non-political campaigning group dedicated to working for improved passenger rail and metro services in London and the wider Home Counties, covering Greater London, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Dorset, IOW, Sussex and Kent.

SERG is not a mass membership organisation and charges no fees or membership subscriptions, nor do we receive any funding or support from any organisations of any kind.  We are just a group of volunteers of varying abilities and wide viewpoints! Whilst being enthusiastically pro-rail we are not in any way anti-road or anti-aviation. We make no pretension to being experts or all-seeing oracles, nor do we claim to be right about everything, but we do have opinions and we do campaign to make existing rail and metro services even better for everyone including the disabled. We also campaign just as strongly to see new services introduced and infrastructure built.

Please follow us on social media.  The main SERG social media links are in the right hand menu.  However, each individual forum also has a Twitter feed of its own, and you will find a link to that on each individual page.  We look forward to welcoming you there and receiving your comments, feedback and suggestions.

Please take a look at our BLOG

Some useful links to external organisations appear at the foot of this page.

At the top of the left-hand menu is a link to our page for accessing useful (but not necessarily obvious!!) information from various organisations. There are also links to (hopefully!) useful downloads produced by the South East Rail Group (SERG).

Contact us if you want to support our work and help in a practical way or just want to keep in touch!
